Children's University

All our clubs within school are accredited to the Children’s University.

This is an organisation which signposts young people to exciting learning activities which take place outside the normal school day - it could be before school, during lunchtime, after school, during weekends or holidays etc. The activities are all voluntary, it is up to students to choose what they do and when, and the learning always has a link to something they could go on to do at a 'grown up' university.

The students can gain credits by taking part in clubs. These credits are collected and in the summer there is an opportunity for students to take part in a graduation ceremony. There is no cost to the students.

Pupils no longer require a ‘Passport for Learning’ if they want to collect credits for clubs held in school. However, if they are collecting credits from other learning destinations, they can purchase a passport from school for just £2.00
